Lead Practitioner Accreditation Programme

The Lead Practitioner Accreditation programme has been designed by National Leader of Education (NLE) Nicola Graham, Principal of Harris Academy Chafford Hundred alongside a range of experienced Lead Practitioners. This unique programme has been created for Lead Practitioner Designates and for aspiring teachers seeking the Lead Practitioner Accreditation.

The purpose of the programme is to provide specific leadership development that enhances skills and builds capacity to carry out the Lead Practitioner role effectively. Aspiring Lead Practitioners will be able to evidence their impact, skills and achievement on successful completion of the programme.

In school tasks include:

  • Observing teaching

  • Coaching staff identified by senior leadership team

  • Leading an in-school research project
