Nicky is a programme leader for the redesigned National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders (NPQSL), and facilitates on the NPQH module 'Leading for Impact'. Her role involves overseeing the selection and appointment of programme facilitators, managing quality control, and ensuring that all participants enjoy an excellent experience.

Nicky is Executive Principal of Harris Academy Chafford Hundred, also supporting Harris Academy Rainham and Harris Academy Riverside.  Harris Acadamy Chafford Hundred is a Teaching School, working both locally in the Thurrock area and in collaboration with Harris City Academy Crystal Palace to deliver the Federation objectives.

Harris Academy Chafford Hundred was designated “Outstanding” by Ofsted in 2011 and has achieved consistently excellent results over many years. The academy is particularly recognised for the academic success of the most disadvantaged children and those who require support with their learning. Furthermore, the academy boasts a large and thriving Sixth Form, which is consistently oversubscribed and which prepares students for successful futures at a range of excellent universities, despite the local challenges.

Nicky has been proud to support the transformation of Harris Academy Rainham and the launch of the Free School in Thurrock, Harris Academy Riverside, working alongside two of her former Vice Principals, who have successfully progressed to headship.
